5K RUN/WALK AT FIREMAN’S PARK

Thursday, August 15th Registration begins at 6 p.m. Race begins at 7 p.m. Pre-registration cost is $15, Race day registration is $20. Must pre-register by August 10th to receive a t-shirt. Forms available online or at the Litchfield City Office.

STUFF THE BUS

Litchfield Schools Stuff the Bus on Friday & Saturday, August 16th & 17th at 216 Jonesville Street (across from Shell gas station). Help fill the bus with school supplies. Click here for school supply list

GAME TENT

Free family game tent sponsored by the Litchfield Baptist Church Saturday, August 17th from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. next door to the City Office on Jonesville St./M-99

Visit the bounce house and games provided by the Litchfield PTO located in the street in front of Wolfinger’s Hardware

LITCHFIELD AREA HISTORICAL SOCIETY

Litchfield Area Historical Society will have tours Saturday, August 17th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.   Come enjoy a step back into time at the Mill St. School House and the Clay St. Depot. Featuring: 50/50 Raffle & Antique Tractors

Sweet Corn Days Festival Minimize

SWEET CORN DAYS

In late summer is the annual Sweet Corn Days Festival, which is the third weekend in August. Free sweet corn is provided both Friday and Saturday, along with activities, such as horse pulls, a parade, car show, fireworks, pancake breakfast, games and many food vendors. In the past there have been mud drags and a rodeo as the main events of this festival.  The Festival has been held in the Industrial Park in the past, but is now successfully held in downtown Litchfield area.
